Abstract
The authors discuss the possibilities provided by the ideomotor training in football for the purposes of successfully performing penalty kicks. The mechanism of ideomotor reactions has been analyzed and described based on the theories of leading scientists. Various examples of the world football practice have been presented as well as a model of free kick performance.
