Abstract
This report presents the study of student`s acquired knowledge in athletics in a junior high stage of primary education. The research methods contain theoretical analysis and didactic tests. The analyzed group scope is 117 students distributed as follows: 5th grade: 31; 6th grade: 30; 7th grade: 30; 8th grade:26.
Analyzing the results, we can conclude that the level of knowledge decreases in any higher class, which is a result of a coordination complex of exercises; lack of adequate facilities and conditions for implementing the lessons in athletics in the curriculum; poor student motivation caused by ignorance of the specifics of proper implementation of the athletics exercises.
